| I absolutely Like my Nikon Coolpix!!! The pictures are gorgeous. I'm not quite sure what the people that have terrible pictures coming out are doing with their camera, but my pictures are fantastic! AND the video is wonderful! I am having so much fun with it. I was able to take fantastic videos of my kids during their snow day from school. It only takes a couple of seconds transfer everything from the SD card to the computer. I would recommend this to anyone!!! |

| So far I have had a fantastic experience with taking pictures. I especially like that when I am taking a picture in a dark room or at night, the picture comes out perfect when the flash is on. My sister has a coolpix and I have borrowed hers many times, so i knew when i was going to buy a digital camera I was certainly going to buy a coolpix. I have been with out a digital camera for 3years due to my Kodak not keeping the battery life. I will never buy a Kodak again, It will be Nikon all the way. |

I have huge DSLR Nikons and I end up using the small one most of the time and like it
It allows me to get shots I cant with the DSLR,
I reckon its a fantastic camera for the money and is nice to work with.
Maby it isn't as sharp on prints over 8X10, but it's fantastic at 6X4 and that is mostly what I print.
Very pleased with this camera.

Fantastic Camara for the Price - Best in Class - Awesome ISO & Zoom.
I did a excellent comparison with the leading brands. Comparing ISO, Megapixel, Featuers like Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, shutter speed, Optical zoom and others. This camara came up ahead and cheaper than other brands.

| I really recommend this camera to anyone looking into buying a digital camera. I had previously bought a Kodak digital camera and a $10 digital camera given to me and they were so hard to function to the point where I could not get a decent picture to come from them. I was a small apprehensive from some reviews telling me that this camera should not be used until you had read the manual front to back. I am not technologically savvy at all and I was working the camera and taking gorgeous pictures without barely reading the manual the day I got this gorgeous camera in the mail. The night time pictures appear as if I had taken them on the brightest summer day of the year. Just Gorgeous. I'm glad I hadn't opted to just choose a random camera off the walmart shelf because I am a very impatient person, this camera was sooooo worth the wait. I hope you like it as much as I do. |

I just bought this camera after returning the Fuji FinePix waterproof camera $129.00.
This camera is just fantastic. The speed of taking pictures is incredible (no waiting between shots).
I have an expensive high end Oympus and wanted a small camera to take quick shots. This camera is just the answer.
I can snap clear/perfect shots at a moments notice while on the go and never again miss a shot while the camera is focasing as I did with my high end camera.
I had considered the Cannon ELF 12MP and the Sony Cyber Shot 12MM, both fantastic cameras, but am glad I chose on the Nikon CoolPix 12MP. This camera was recommended by a professional photographer friend of mine.
My friend also recommended a well padded case. This is for 2 reasons, first so the lens does not get knocked out of alignment while in a pocket, purse, or belt and second, a well padded case will gradually absorb any humidity/moisture and keep the camera dry. |
